Pedro Alves

Dr. Pedro Alves qualified in Lisbon in 2007 and joined @smile dental clinic in 2014. Originally from Portugal where started his professional life, he worked 4 years in England before joining @smile dental clinic, Jersey.

Over the years Pedro has been constantly updating his expertise in the special interest areas of Dental Implantology, Bone grafting and Restorative & Aesthetic dentist. Pedro has been awarded several prizes on these courses, such as “Most improved Dentist and Best Dentist” on a 2 year highly reputed postgraduate training program in the UK.  

In addition, in 2019 Pedro has completed the Royal College of Surgeons of England Implant Dentistry training and is now finalising the Diploma.  Also, in 2019 Pedro finished the Advanced Surgical Master Curriculum in Regenerative Implant dentistry making it possible for many people, who were told they don’t have enough bone structure, to fulfil their dream about having fixed teeth again. Patients often find this type of treatment life changing!  Pedro is also one of limited few dentists in the UK performing All-on-4®️ and Teeth-In-A-Day  Implant dentistry and is a fully certified provider for Nobel BioCare. Nobel BioCare is the worldwide market leader in providing dental implants and we are proud Pedro is able to provide this excellent service to people off Jersey.

When not at work Pedro likes to spend time with his family and travelling. A lover of the summer, Pedro enjoys exploring new places and is a fan of sunny, beach destinations.
