Roman Prihonsky

I enjoy seeing the positive impact of dental treatment on the overall health of patients. I am particularly interested in applying biomimetic principles in dental treatment using up-to-date technologies and equipment.

I was born and raised in the Czech Republic where I received my Masters of Dentistry degree from Palacky University Olomouc in 2009. I returned to Ostrava where I worked as an associate dentist for almost four years.

I spent the year 2013 travelling Australia and New Zealand. In the spirit of The German “Walz” (tradition of setting out on travel after completing apprenticeship as a craftsman) I had the opportunity visiting dental surgeries in Chicago (Dr. Attila Juhasz), Melbourne (Dr.Richard Skinner), Greymouth (Dr. Garry Rae) and others. I decided to work on the beautiful Island of Jersey which offers the unique balance of life without stress of big cities yet relatively close to my family.

In my free time I enjoy taking care of my Manuka bonsai trees and exploring the rich history of Channel Islands.
